Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Soup of the evening Beautiful Soup, Soup of the evening,Beautiful SoupBeautiful Sou-oopBeautiful Sou-oop. Soup, Who cares for fish,Game or any other dish?Who would not give all else for twoPennyworth only of Beautiful Soup?Beautiful Sou-oop, Soup of the evening Beautiful Sou-oop, Beautiful, Beautiful Soup. Gene Wilder was a very intelligent man. Broccoli cheddar soup deserves to be serenaded before it is eaten, so once you check out this b-e-a-utiful post and create this soup I encourage you to sing to it before consuming it.

Ingredients: cheddar CHEESE(use your preferred degree of cheddarness),BUTTER, milk, flour, chicken broth, and broccoli( fresh or frozen broccoli will suffice for this recipe, whatever is most convenietn for you to cook with).

First cook the broccoli using your preferred method. The microwave is the tool that we will be utilizing to make the broccoli all steamy and yummyful.

Next, grate the cheese.LOTS of cheese....I really enjoy cheese. It is a wonderful form of sustenance.

Melt the butter in a pot.

Make a roux by adding the flour to the pot along with the butter.

Pour chicken broth into the pot as well.

Once all of the ingredients in the pot are stirred together add the cooked broccoli.

Combine the pot ingredients well and then pour milk into the mixture.

I reccomend that you become really enthusiastic now because this is the most enthralling step.Actually the eating part of this recipe is the most exiting, but adding the cheese is pretty amazing as well.

Stir it until all of the ignredients are mixed together well on their way to thickening up into a consistency acceptable for this soup.

If you are an over achiever then I say you make some sour dough bread bowls the day before you make the soup thay you were just persuaded to make.
Ingredients for the starter :1 package of Yeast, 3 cups of Warm water, 3 cups Flour, and 1 teaspoon Sugar.

Combine the water, yeast, and sugar. Let this mixture sit until it becomes foamy. Add the flour and stir vigorously. Cover the bowl with a towel in a warm area and let it sit for eight to twelve hours.

Okay, now you must make the actual sour dough bread.

Ingreidents: 3/4 of a teaspoon Salt and 2 cups of Flour and 1 and a 1/2 cups of the sour dough starter that you made before.

With an electric mixer that has a dough hook attachmant combine the flour, the salt, and the starter.Knead the dough in the bowl once it is combined well until it no longer sticks to the bowl.

Next, roll the dough around in a lightly oiled bowl until the sphere of dough has a coating of oil on it.

Now wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rise for one to one and a half hours.

Sprinkle some flour on a cutting board.

Place the risen dough onto the cutting board and knead it gently.

Cut the dough into two parts (we doubled the recipe, therefore we have four sourdough rolls in the making).

Roll the cuts of dough into spherical like shapes and then pinch the bottoms of them tightly.

You will have gloriously pinched rolls.

Cover the sperical doughyness with a towel for an hour.

Once an hour has passed make cuts like these on the tops of the rolls.

Brush the tops of the rolls with butter and then bake them at 40 hundred degrees in the oven for sixty minutes.

The rolls have cooled and you now must be super fancy and hollow out the inside of the rolls.

Put some beautiful soup into your pretentious sour dough bread roll and garnish it with cheese. Then put a straw that is also a spoon into the soup. Sernade your soup if you desire to and then sip it through your straw or spoon it up.

Cheese Fries A Mound of Unicorn-Like Delecability!

Fried potatoes are undeniably delicious.Cheese is magical. Therefore the two together are a power team of tasty glorious unicorn-like delecability! They are however, pretty self-explanitory, so i won't torture you with a long explination of how amazing they are. So, yes. Onward to apptitie-watering! (thats like mouth watering, only you get to be creative and decide what your appatite looks like...maybe give it a name...)

Ingredients: Potatoes, Flour, Butter, Salt, Ketchup, Mustard

And of course, the dairy: Milk and Cheese (we're just using cheddar, but you could go crazy and get creative!)

Now, of course you could use frozen french fries instead of making your own from potatoes. Laziness tastes just as good, and has less chance of turning out badly.

Grate yourself some cheese, because cheese is delicious. Also it is a main component in this recipe.

Now melt some butter for the roux. We're mostly just going to make a basic cheese sauce. It will be delicious.

Now add the flour, whisk it together until it's all combined and bubbly. Bubble bubble.

Whisk in the milk. You could use whole milk if you wanted to. Or you could use skim. Or 1%! But don't use powdered milk, because that stuff's just gross.

Stir in all that cheesy goodness you grated earlier. Stir it till it is no longer lumpy. Lumpy cheese sauce is unacceptable. Or delicious. Whichever way you want to look at it.

Now here's where we get fancy. Mustard. Mustard to make it taste yummy.

And a little ketchup as well. That will also make it taste delicious.

Now for the potatoes. Get some oil going, make it hot. Hot. Hot.

You can peel the potatoes if you like. We decided to leave a little peel on them. POTATOES!

NOw cut them into your desired french fry shape.

That's what's so much fun about making your own, you can have fun and make them pretty.

Now put the potatoes in oil!

SIZZLE!

And then take them out and put them on some paper towels to drain the oil.

After you cook them all, you can put them in a paper bag

With some salt

And maybe some pepper as well

Put them on a plate!

I enjoy french fries. Do you?

Now pour some cheese on top. Cheese is good. You probably wont put all of it on. There is quite a bit.

Hoorah! Cheese Fries! They are so yummy!

Cheese Fries
2 T Butter
2 T Flour
1 1/2 C Milk
2 1/2 C Cheese
2 t Mustard
1 1/2 t Ketchup
Fried Potatoes

Melt the butter and then whisk in the flour. Whisk in the milk and then let it simmer for a moment and thicken a bit. Stir in the cheese, make it all melty and delicious. Finally stir in the mustard and ketchup. Pour over fried potatoes. Or go the sissy way and put the sauce on the side.
